Good Morning everyone hope you’re doing well. This week I bring you an Artist that I have had the pleasure to watch transform and blossom into the mega hit she is now. Her name is Julieta Venegas from Tijuana, MX who has just released her MTV Unplugged Live album which has launched such artists into mega stardom as La Ley, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Mana and many more. Breaking out onto the main stream of the Latin pop charts was her break through album Si in 2003. The album gave birth to three hit singles and paved the way to her follow up album, Limon y Sal in 2005. Limon y Sal went onto to earn her Gold and Triple Platinum status in Mexico, Unites States, Chile and Argentina. Her unique brand of pop music blending with traditional sounds of Mexico is a breath of fresh air to Latin music and one you can enjoy at any occasion. I had the opportunity to catch Julieta Venegas on her recent Unplugged tour in Tijuana and it was AMAZING! The same tour hits the U.S. this month and is one you want to definitely catch!
