Second song is Bernard Purdie’s “Way Back Home” from 1971. One of the best drummers you might not know about, Bernard Purdie has played with some of the best. I can never get enough funky, soul music and this song hits the spot.
Third song is from back in early 2007. “Her Morning Elegance” is from Oren Lavie’s The Opposite Side of the Sea. If this song was used in a popular movie, this song would be huge. Maybe it is actually, I have no idea. Oren Lavie grew up in Israel and he’s in his mid 30s.
