Tomorrow in the Topanga Canyon / Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles, the first Ranch Party festival is going down.  It’s a great line up of bands and DJs that the expected crowd of 1,000+ are sure to love all day and all night.  The Los Angeles Times’ Pop & Hiss music blog featured a nice write up on the festival you can check out here.  Along with an added charity fee, a portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to ranchkids.org, an organization that works with at risk and special needs youth.  Here’s a description of the festival:

“The Ranch” is an epic live music benefit party, nestled in the hills and wild wilderness of Los Angeles. In the spirit of the music scenes that came together in our city’s canyons, come camp out at the top of the Santa Monica Mountains for a full day & night of LA bands, Artists, DJs, food and drinks.
The Ranch itself is a majestic 20-acre property in the Santa Monica Mountains near Topanga Canyon.  There will be two stages.  Each stage has its own space and a line-up of talent curated around its unique environment.  With large open spaces, room to roam and spectacular views of the mountains.  The Ranch is a one of a kind place for a campout party.
